Our cacao journey culminates with a trail and an offering at the secret temples of the ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, creating a meaningful final connection between cacao, the land, and the ancestral world of the Andes.
Machu Picchu offers a window into the knowledge, worldview, and relationship with nature of the Inca civilization. Walking among its temples, terraces, and ceremonial spaces invites us to reflect on the profound relationship between people, the land, the cosmos, and the cycles of nature.
During our visit, we will explore significant sites including the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of the Condor, and the Intihuatana stone, traditionally understood as a ceremonial and astronomical feature.
In our previous retreat, we were honored to hold a cacao ceremony in the mystical surroundings of Machu Picchu. It became a profound moment of connection and reflection — and an experience we hope to continue honoring in this journey.
