AMA Sacred Valley is a cultural hub in the Sacred Valley in Cusco, Peru, that unites Andean cuisine, ancestral art, and community empowerment. Kontiti – Casita del Chocolate, led by devoted chocolatera Magaly Frescia, is a Cusco-based chocolate atelier committed to honoring Peru’s high-value, traceable cacao. Magaly transforms fine beans into artisan chocolates while preserving the ancestral iconography of pre-Hispanic cultures through her sculpted creations. Her work celebrates heritage, craftsmanship, and the deep cultural legacy of Peruvian cacao.

FAQ
- What will I learn on this 8-day retreat? You will explore cacao from multiple perspectives: its cultural origins, ceremonial use, post-harvest processes, chocolate tasting, and its connection to land and community. The journey combines learning, direct experiences with producers, guided tastings, and cultural immersion.
- Is there an Early-Bird ticket opportunity? Yes. A limited number of Early-Bird spots are available for participants who reserve in advance. For this edition until October 25th.
- Is there a payment plan available? Yes. After securing your spot with a deposit, the remaining balance can be paid in installments leading up to the retreat.
- Who is this retreat for? This journey is designed for cacao facilitators, chocolate professionals (bean-to-bar), wellness practitioners, chefs and culinary innovators, and professors, investigators, or social advocates who want to deepen their understanding of cacao, its culture, and its origins.
- Is this cacao journey only for women? No. The retreat is open to everyone. While the journey is guided by the guidance of Fiorella, it welcomes all participants who wish to learn respectfully about cacao culture.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Included in the Retreat Package:
- Accommodation for 8 days and 7 nights.
- All meals during the retreat.
- Ground transportation between retreat locations (Cusco, Quillabamba, Sacred Valley & Machu Picchu).
- All scheduled activities, ceremonies, and cacao/chocolate experiences.
- Full guidance and facilitation throughout the retreat.
- A Certificate of Completion bearing the Participant’s name, granted at the end of the retreat
Not Included in the Retreat Package:
- International and domestic airplane tickets to and from Cusco.
- Transfers to Cusco airport at the end of the retreat.
- Optional add-ons such as massages, private therapies, or healing sessions are not included in the cacao/chocolate program.
- Personal expenses, travel insurance, or meals outside of the retreat program.
