Cacao Maloca Project

We would love to create a Cacao Maloca with your support.

The Cacao Maloca is a project that aims to build Maloca to host cacao ceremonies at the Valverde family house in the beautiful jungle of Kiteni, in Cusco, Peru. This family integrated by 3 women, Sonia, Ruth and Miriam from three different generations are the true guardians of the Chuncho golden cacao. They are part of the cooperative we make our ceremonial cacao paste with.

The term ‘maloca’ refers to a sacred round-shaped building use for rituals and ceremonies in indigenous communities.

We aim to empower this family by creating this sacred space so they can welcome visitors who want to learn directly from them about the cultivation of this ancient Peruvian variety of cacao. We also aim to regain the practices of the ritual cacao that has been forgotten by the cacao farmers themselves.

We love to give back to Earth as she provides us with the beautiful Cacao in our lives.

5% of our product sales are destined to this fund, our goal is to start the work in June 2024 with the funding made.

The Valverde is the first family we work with, our goal is to support with this Maloca building as much cacao farmers family as we can in the next years and build a sustainable experiential and mystical tourism regarding Cacao.

Thank you for your support. We look forward to manifest this project and welcome you at this beautiful space for an authentic ceremonial cacao experience at the sacred jungle of the mystical Cusco in our homeland Peru, surrounded by magnificent nature and a unique landscape of the Andean mountains and Amazon River.
